According to preliminary findings, a total of ten pupils from Class VII A at Metta Maitreya Middle School have not achieved the Minimum Completion Criteria that are established. In light of these findings, a research study will focus on how classroom management influences students' interest in Buddhist Religious Education and Character Education within Class VII A of Metta Maitreya Middle School. The approach for this research will be qualitative. It is scheduled to take place from December 2024 through March 2025. The study will be conducted at Metta Maitreya Middle School, situated on Jalan Tuanku Tambusai in the Puri Nangka Sari Complex, Pekanbaru. The necessary data will be gathered from the Principal and the relevant teachers responsible for Buddhist Religious Education and Character Education in Class VII A at Metta Maitreya Middle School. The methods for data collection will include both documentation and interviews. Findings from the research indicate that effective classroom management plays a significant role in fostering interest in learning Buddhist Religious Education and Character Education among the students of Class VII A at Metta Maitreya Middle School. The results support the conclusion that classroom management contributes positively to enhancing the students' interest in these subjects.
